QC call center operator to enjoy four-year tax exemption

MANILA, Philippines – WNS Philippines Inc., which will open a contact center facility in Cubao, Quezon City has been allowed enjoy tax exemptions for four years.

The company will also enjoy other tax incentives since it will become an exporter of information technology services, the Board of Investments (BOI) said.

Once the contact center begins operations, it will be able to employ as much as 2,218 employees.

The company – a partnership between Global Services Netherlands Cooperative UA and the Advance Contact Solutions Inc. – said it will be investing P188 million for its 500-seat facility that is expected to begin in May.

The company will offer finance and accounting, sales acquisition, account activation, payment authorization, customer service lines, and shared financial administration for its clients globally through inbound and outbound calls.
